Our Life: Beginnings & Always [v1.6.9] BY GBPatch

GBPatch Games released a new game called Our Life: Beginnings & Always and the version is 1.6.9. The game’s story is about Jamie Last (changeable name) has spent the last couple weeks on a summertime high. At eight years old, nothing is better than what feels like endless days of school-less adventures, especially when you live walking distance from the beach. While coming home under a scorching sunset one fine evening, Jamie is approached by a stranger.

The man is looking for a kid who can do him a favor, and he’s even offering to pay for it. He wants Jamie to please be friends with his only child. The person is Mr. Holden, Jamie’s new neighbor, as well as the father of the odd, and oddly named boy, Cove. Whether Jamie wants to play along or not, Cove isn’t going anywhere. He’s present in Jamie’s life for far longer than they ever would’ve guessed.

Game Version Changelog:

v1.6.9:

• You access Baxter’s Step 3 Moments by clicking a yellow button on the right hand side of the Moment Selection Screen.
• The extra Step 3 scene for Baxter in the ‘and then summer ended’ section happens after the credits!
• You need to play all of Baxter’s Step 3 Moments to get the option to play Baxter’s Step version of Step 4.
• Baxter’s DLC begins in the Step 3 opening. You can play from the beginning of the story until that point or start a new file and use an option at the start of the beta to skip right to Step 3.
• Save files from this beta won’t work in other beta builds or the main game. You can load saves from the main game in the beta but you need to play Step 3 from the beginning to see the new content.
• Minor spoilers: There’s only one way to start a romantic relationship with Baxter in Step 3. There are three ways to start a romantic relationship in Step 4. You can date Baxter in Step 3 and 4, only date him in S3 and not in S4, not date him in S3 and only start dating in S4, or never date him.

New Content:

• The rest of Baxter’s Step 4 is now playable. His story is included from start to finish!
• Over 90,000 words of new content was added in total
• The CGs will unlock in the gallery
• Missing and incomplete art from prior builds got added
• Errors were fixed from the previous beta

There is one BG in Planning that’s entirely missing right now, not even a sketch is done, and so I just used the grocery store background as a placeholder. And there you have it. Everybody worked hard to create this massive update before the end of the month. I hope you’ll enjoy the full first part of Baxter’s story. He’s certainly a unique figure in the world of Our Life: Beginnings & Always

• The entirety of a new Moment- Sightseeing

• Two thirds of Baxter’s version of Hang is playable

• More voice acting lines were added throughout Step 4
