Lukestria Family [v0.1] By C.M.Cas Games

C.M.Cas Games released a new game called Paste and the version is 0.1. The game’s story is about A boy with nothing and no one steals a man’s wallet on the street but is caught by the woman accompanying him. Intrigued by the boy’s thieving skills, the woman offers him a job, taking him off the streets. The boy is known as Gentle Wolf, though he initially didn’t realize he had just joined the mafia. Will he be able to rise through the ranks and stay alive in this line of work, or will he end up dead or caught by the authorities? His discoveries and choices will determine his future as a member of the Lukestria Family.​

Developer Notes:

v.0

  • LUFA is a VN style with some map exploration. I’m training the VN style to be sharp when the
    time of DUEX 2 comes. I’ve learned a lot from DUEX, so, on LUFA you don’t need to grind
    hunting enemies, instead you will have training choices to get stronger. Of course, will have
    some maps for grinding for the players who like killing every enemy, but it’s not necessary.
    About DUEX, people complained mostly about having many monsters in the maps, so LUFA will not
    have many enemies around. I learned this lesson.
    I have 90% of the game planned, the story is complete writen, but the mechanics there’s a
    thing or two that I’m still deciding if I will add it or not.
  • About the mechanics that I already implemented, it’s on this version, but I don’t show it
    yet. (This is a work in progress, bugs can happen)
  • Weapon proficiency: Each time you attack with a weapon in battle, you gain exp with this
    weapon type. 1 exp if miss, 2 exp if hit. You need get 30exp to level up and get 1
    proficiency point. Each proficiency point raise your hit and critical rate, and the skills
    with this weapon type gain damage bonus. The max proficiency level is 100.
  • -Skill proficiency: It’s a hidden value, but each time that you use a skill, it get exp and
    level up. Some skill gain damage boost, others reduce the energi cost to use, others get more
    critical chance, etc. There’s a effect in battle tha shows when a skill level up. The Attack
    action count’s as skill. The max skill level is 10.
  • Relationsip system: Here there’s not mystery, be nice to the girls and get some points.
    There’s a menu to see the relationship progression, but, as others mechanics that are in the
    game but I don’t show it on this version, you have no access to it for now.
  • Reputation system: Some times you can use your Charisma, Leadership or Reputation to get
    what you want. Lead to threaten, Char to persuade, and Repu to show who is the boss.
    Reputation influence’s some relationships too, and change some interactions. Again, it’s on
    the game, but now shown yet.
  • The art still IA. If you don’t like it, give it a chance, there’s more on LUFA than the art.
    If you still don’t like the game, that’s fine dropping it. I’m testing some cool models to
    bring cool characters. Some people told me about a IA generator localy, but my pc is a potato
    with a 13 years old graphic card, dual core 2duo chipset, and 2gb RAM, and do you believe
    that it cannot run a image generator? Yeah, it sucks, but it’s life. In the future I can get
    a better pc and then can get some better images, with a easily way to generate posing,
    consistency and fixing hands.
    For the ones who don’t know me, I’ve started making games 7 months ago. I never had touched
    any game maker engine before, so we can say that I’m still learning. My strong trait is
    storytelling, the rest I’m getting better by time and practice. Oh, and english is not my
    first language. I’d try my best, but some spell mistakes can happen.
  • The first version is always the one with this long post. The other’s will be short. For now,
    I’ll let you leave the gun and take the cannoli.
