Light of My Life [Ch. 7 v0.7.0] By Naughty Road

Naughty Road Games released a new game called Light of My Life and the version is Ch. 7 v0.7.0. The game’s story is about Nearly five years ago, the death of your wife left you in charge of your two young wards. You tried to be the best caregiver you could, but all three of you were scarred and hurt by the sudden loss of the light in your lives. Now your wards have become grown-up adults, and the grief you share has pushed you apart. Will you be able to overcome the barriers of your own making and help your wards rekindle the light in their hearts? Light of my Life is an adult visual novel about loss and love. Aid and support your wards to help them overcome their hurts and fulfill their dreams, or let the pain you share drive you apart.

Game Version Changelog:

Ch 7 v0.7.0

• Adds chapter 7.
• Added about 10k images, bringing the grand total up to 23k2, for what that’s worth.
• Reworked the gallery system. Now based on save files instead of stripped, dialogless copies of the original scene. Original versions left intact for backwards compatibility.
• Typos, continuity fixes, small bugs, and other minor changes to dialog to previous chapters.
• Now runs on ren’py 7.6.1.
• Because of this, after a load, you can’t roll back to a point before the moment you saved, because of glitching images when you do.
• Ren’py 7.6.0 introduced a warning when loading a save that comes from a different computer, and asks you to confirm loading. You won’t see this with saves made in the last version of LomL, but you will see this with saves made in this version.
• If you are not sure why saves made on another computer are a substantial security risk, please read this.

Known issues: Some phones seem to have trouble starting up the Android version. It doesn’t seem to be related to model, make, architecture, age, or resources available on the phone, so it’s likely settings or other apps, but I haven’t been able to pinpoint the issue yet, and it’s still under investigation.

Developer Notes:

Chapter 7 – Kiss from a Rose is now available for everyone. Thank you everyone who supported the creation of this game, it couldn’t have been made without you! It’s been a year and a half in the make, and there where times where it felt like everything came easy, and times (not many thankfully) where even the smallest thing was a struggle, and it felt like trying to wear down a mountain with a bird’s beak. But looking back at it, I felt it was worth it, and I hope you do to.

• Word to the wise: this game contains:
• No stat grinds or minigames.
• No magical artifacts, stimulating potions or sleeping pills (although it starts out with a bit of a bender).
• No hidden camera’s, hacked laptops or cracked cell phones.
• No photo model characters straight out of an asset bundle.
