DrFronkonstinMD Games released a new game called The Escort and the version is Final v1.0. The game’s story is about The Escort is a short story with two main characters taking place in just 24 hours. It’s essentially a kinetic novel, but it’s got some choices here and there, as well as two different endings and 4 paths to get to them.

Note for v1.0: You can play from any saved point you had from previous versions, but IT’S RECOMMENDED to start a new game to avoid a small exception after finding and watching the easter egg epilogue.

Developer Notes:

Hi all! I’m super excited to share my first game. I’ve been a member for 2 years now and this forum has provided me with hours and hours of fun and excitement (and other stuff too). The idea of sharing my own creations with the community has always been there, but I haven’t had much spare time until recently. I had a great time going through the whole process and I seriously hope you enjoy playing the game. I’d love to read your thoughts, both positive and negative and please, let me know if you find bugs or something doesn’t work. Note: The Mac and Android versions are untested, so it would be great if anyone can confirm they work.

Notes for v1.0

At last! Final version!

What’s new?

– 3 different paths to get to the end. So far, the game had one single decision to make and the rest was just a kinetic novel. This last version has a little more interaction that leads to 3 different branches. Be sure to try them all. It’s not like the end is going to change radically, but they all lead to extra content.

– Extended story. The original script was shorter. After a while I decided to extend a scene, add two new ones and an epilogue at the end.

– Hidden discarded epilogue! That’s right. After working on a few images for the original epilogue, I decided to discard it in case some people thought it somehow broke a fundamental rule of the game. Just before packing the final release, I decided to finish it and add it as an easter egg for the player to hunt, but you shouldn’t consider it part of the actual game. More like a curiosity.
